Overview

As a strategic partner, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units/subsidiaries. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on human resource related issues. The HRBP will act as an employee champion and formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

What you'll do...

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with our leaders to learn the business and provide counsel and support on HR related matters.
  • Maintain positive relationships with employees to provide support including addressing questions, concerns, and support of development. Provide employee coaching as needed.
  • Work with leadership to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to managers with employee coaching/disciplinary actions, performance improvement, and career development.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Analyze available data and employee feedback to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and partners with managers to plan appropriate training & development for new hires.
  • Manage the promotion and transfer process to ensure timely review, processing, and communication.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes for corporate and field roles.
  • Other responsibilities and project work as assigned.
Qualifications:
Who we are looking for...

  • Must have at least 5 years of prior experience in Human Resources and knowledge of basic labor regulations and laws
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or minimum of 5 years of Human Resources management level roles
  • Experienced with resolution of complex employee relation issues, recruiting and talent acquisition, and benefits
  • Strong HR Generalist background with working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, and performance management
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting corporate functions including Finance and Information Technology
  • SHRM Certification
  • Experience working with HRIS systems including supporting implementation and adoption of new processes andn tools
