We are seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES (EVS) ASSISTANT in Eagle River, Wisconsin at Aspirus Eagle River Hospital. This individual provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. In this role you will receive cleaning assignments, clean and sanitize assigned areas through performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, preparing beds, cleaning bathrooms, and collecting recycling, garbage using approved methods, chemicals and equipment.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write, and remember/follow verbal or written instructions.
• Prefer but not required, high school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum and frequently walk, stand, push/pull, reach and twist/turn.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping department is beneficial but not required.

Hours: Full-time 1.0 FTE, Varied Shifts, weekend & holiday rotation. 80 hours per pay period. Benefits package available.
