Hello! A company in Pittston is working with James Emmett & Co https://jamesemmettandcompany.com to hire motivated people with disabilities. Our goal is to assist with rolling out the inclusion program and bridging any gaps that may arise. We provide ongoing assistance via in-person, phone, or online meetings for requested accommodations or other needs. We are not job coaches but work with job coaches or provide some support to those who do not have a job coach on-site.

• 4 shift options: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (soon changing to 10-hour and 12-hour shifts, 8 hour shift will still be available for those with approved accommodations). Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (shift currently on hold but still accepting applications). Saturday-Monday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm. Monday-Thursday, 6:00 pm - 4:30 am.
• Starting pay at $17.00/hour. A shift differential may be added, depending on shift.

• Current facility located near Luzerne County bus stop. New facility will not be located near a bus stop.

General Information:

• Overtime may be required and depends on company need, but it is scheduled and you will receive at least a 2-day notice.

• JEC team member on site multiple days per week to provide additional support.

Job title: Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: Responsible for processing merchandise according to company standards. Entry level positions within 6 different departments.

Requirements:

• High attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to reach UPH goals for department (will extend training period if necessary).
• Must be able to verify merchandise for shipment and learn to utilize an RF scanner.
• Willingness to cross-train in different departments.
