Highlander Beer is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to help organize and facilitate the daily operations of our growing company. We are a fun and growing brewery, who just expanded into Idaho, and are in need of more administrative support. This position would work closely with the President, and is responsible for coordinating/ executing administrative tasks, and managing general workflow for the organization. Some of the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing incoming bills and outgoing invoices
  • Assisting with payroll and distributing paychecks
  • Bank, Post Office, and other general company errands
  • Oversees employee PTO program, and 401k program
  • Files monthly and quarterly beer tax reports
  • Handles insurance audits
  • Handles general reporting required from State or federal agencies
  • OSHA filings/ workman comp filings
  • Assists with OSHA compliance by keeping OSHA programs up to date
  • Helps keep employee handbook up to date
  • Organizes all staff meetings/ manager meetings/ board meetings
  • Organizes all company parties and employee/ distributor gifts
  • Manages/ orders all administrative supplies
  • Keeps track of all distributor POS inventory
  • Oversees monthly inventory for brewery and merchandise
  • Assists with general taproom upkeep and marketing/ event needs
  • Organizes/ facilitates community donations, and other gifted beer/ merchandise
  • Assists with monthly and yearly reporting for company sales/ and other necessary internal reports

This position will be involved in many different areas of the company and, and therefore must be willing to work in a rapidly changing environment. We are looking for an individual who is extremely organized, takes initiative, and enjoys a variety of tasks and responsibilities.

Previous Administrative experience is preferred, but not necessary. Position is hourly, and starts at part-time, with potential to add more hours if workload allows. Pay is based on experience. Hours are flexible. 401K Plan when eligible, and beer, food, merchandise perks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
