WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Help Desk Associate who will be responsible for providing technology support for 500+ employees as well as ensure that needs are met through solutions that are well constructed, well communicated, and operating properly. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to end users on a variety of issues
  • Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support; first-call resolution
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
  • Audio-Visual support for large group meeting that include web conferencing, video streaming
  • Laptop, Desktop, Tablet, Mobile Device, and Remote Access support
  • Hardware/Software Printer support
  • Respond quickly to technology outages
  • Windows 10, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory Management
  • Work on special projects delegated by IT Manager and Team Leaders
  • Workstation, equipment, and telephone moves
  • Remote support of Regional Offices
  • Ability to be on-call rotation for off-hours support as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a related area or equivalent technical training/experience required
  • Professional experience with current Windows OS required

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience in a clear and coherent manner required
  • Superior customer service focus
  • Effective decision making, problem solving, organization, and time management skills
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Experience with Apple OS, Android and hardware preferred
  • Experience with VoIP and mobile technologies preferred
