The position

Advise the Management in matters concerning occupational health, safety and radiation protection
-
Lead the Safety and Radiation Protection Group
-
Maintain and further develop the Safety Organization and implement appropriate processes and tools
-
Cooperate with the supervising authorities
-
Act in at least one of the following roles: Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit), Radiation Protection Commissioner (Strahlenschutzbevollmächtigter) or Biological Safety Officer (Beauftragter für Biologische Sicherheit)
Requirements

University degree in the natural sciences or in engineering, respectively relevant professional experience

Strong organizational, management and communication skills

Detailed knowledge in at least one of the fields of radiation protection, general occupational safety, machine safety, biology/chemistry safety or laser safety, preferably in a large scientific institution

Salary and benefits are similar to those of public service organizations in Germany.
