Objective & Purpose
The North America Head of S/4 Public Cloud Marketing is part of the North America Field Marketing organization and is responsible for the end-to-end marketing plan focused on net new account acquisition in support of SAP’s ERP business. You will work closely with the Global Demand Center and Solution Marketing organizations. This role has accountability for defined pipeline and revenue targets, is responsible for extending the global integrated marketing strategy into the region for relevant audiences, industries, and market units – with partners as appropriate, and develop regional specific activities that complements and expand the reach of the global plans.
The S/4 Public Cloud Field Marketing Lead is a key strategic partner to senior business stakeholders (aligns to the regional Chief Revenue Officer for S/4 Public and extended solution selling teams). The Field Marketing Leader will develop and execute in-region demand generation and net new account acquisition programs designed to support SAP’s ERP growth. The leader must possess and demonstrate a strong knowledge of net new marketing strategies, marketing mix optimization, and performance management. Additional responsibilities include owning the budget and allocating to appropriate marketing tactics, as well as activation of key campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Experience developing and executing an integrated marketing plan across the full customer lifecycle including responsibility for demand generation, pipeline acceleration and customer adoption marketing.- Cloud marketing experience with a strong orientation in developing net new and or mid-market high growth account acquisition marketing strategies and customer journeys.
- Strong experience working with end-to end marketing mix including event, account based, digital, inbound, outbound, and customer marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital channel strategies and marketing funnel performance and optimization strategies.
- Embraces a data-driven mindset and leverages external signals including competitive research, intent signals and account targeting strategies to develop and optimize pipeline generation and conversion programs.
- Experience leading partner enabled and partner-led marketing programs to scale demand generation and customer adoption.
- Deep knowledge and insights on marketing funnel and tactics that aid with demand gen, pipeline acceleration and customer renewals.
- Strong communication & presentation skills, strong stakeholder management skills.
- Cloud enterprise software marketing experience is required.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 140,400 - 320,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
