PURPOSE OF POSITION

Creates/produces designs, logos, forms, illustrations, and images for publications (including the College catalog and schedule brochures), advertisements, specialty items, web pages, etc.; develops bid specifications and works with printers to ensure publications are printed correctly and economically; assists in photographing and videoing activities for print and electronic publications; organizes/maintains the College website; creates website enhancements/modifications; implements web designs and interfaces; performs entry level analysis of information to be posted on the website; assesses new standards, technologies, and trends; formulates strategies and content for print and digital marketing, including use of College website and social media.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

Associate degree in graphic design or related field preferred. Work-related experience in computer-related and graphics design fields. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet multiple deadlines. Must be highly creative with experience devising effective print and digital campaigns, as well as a strong web presence. Understands ADA compliance as it relates to web design, effective written and oral communication skills. Be a team player with a positive outlook.

SALARY
$42,066 - $58,425 for a 12-month full-time position with benefits.

Piedmont Community College (PCC), one of 58 colleges in the North Carolina Community College System, is a multi-campus college located 40 miles north of the Research Triangle Park and 50 miles northeast of the Piedmont Triad.
