We are looking for the right candidate to Lead and solidify Shelter’s Business Experience vision, while establishing a robust, integrated commercial operations organization that accelerates Commercial outcomes across the complex digital ecosystem in which we operate.

The successful candidate will be adept at: 1) thought leadership and cross-functional alignment, 2) connecting business priorities with people, process and technology execution, and 3) delivering ROI of investments for priority customer workstreams. Must have solid analytical and technical chops, coupled with an equally strong passion for winning with customers in the ever-changing digital landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of Shelter’s Business Experience vision and harmonize operations across the core domains of Customer Experience, Performance Marketing, eCommerce, Process and Data Management

• Spearhead the formation of Shelter & W&P’s integrated Business Experience strategy and plan to align action plans across functional teams of marketing, sales, marketing communications, customer service, product management, customer service and IT in a way that positively impacts business P&Ls

• Be a strategic partner to IT and champion establishment of a modern digital business architecture and improve speed and quality of delivery across the full spectrum of technologies and data sets that power digital experience / digital solutions

• Establish seamless business engagement model that ensures tight alignment between business strategy, execution and value capture, and identifies areas of synergy across W&P to achieve greater scale and value creation

• Be a servant leader to a team of approximately 20 ambitious employees who seek to grow, learn and deliver exceptional results, while having fun along the way!

• Serve on Shelter’s Global Leadership Team

Your Qualification Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, information technology or a related field. MBA desirable.

• 15+ years of relevant experience in IT, Business Operations, or relevant field

• Experience in both B2B and B2C business models is helpful, particularly with regard to eCommerce, customer portals and back-end integrations

• Experience with API strategy and execution

• Prior experience in high-tech field or service business highly desired

• Knowledge of manufacturing, construction, or design industry helpful

• Prior Digital marketing experience

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification

• Superior interpersonal skills, ability to lead through influence and generate buy-in at all levels of the organization.

• Possess a knack for bringing clarity to the complex by leveraging data and storytelling

• Expertise in business architecture and process design to minimize complexity at the seams between people and technology and articulate critical dependencies

• Financial acumen to optimally balance the total cost of operations while simultaneously creating headroom to accelerate growth and exceed targets for improving customer and employee satisfaction

• Demonstrated success in planning and executing complex transformational initiatives and change management programs with high degree of rigor and success

• Depth of experience and knowledge of how to best maximize teams, skills and competencies

• Strong program / project / process and data management

Please note this is a hybrid role. Employees work onsite and remote weekly. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to the corporate site location.
