The position of Georgia District Manager will be based out of our Norcross, GA location!

Essential Responsibilities

  • Directs district sales strategy, market growth opportunities, process changes and improvements.
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding district sales and profit goals, hold Branch Managers accountable for Branch P&L goals.
  • Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the Marketing Director.
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Implements approved distribution strategies.
  • Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
  • Builds, develops and manages Branch Managers and sales teams capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives including team engagement and training.
  • Hold employees accountable to defined sales and digital goals.
  • Ensure Golden Rules are followed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Skills, Knowledge, and Education Required

  • Previous profit and loss responsibilities
  • Ability to drive business/sales
  • Must have a successful sales track record
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Ability to motivate and manage a sales team

Skills, Knowledge, and Education Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, experience may substitute education.
  • 8 years sales management experience
  • Strong analytic and presentation skills including ability to use Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

Language Skills:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer and branch needs.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to verify and calculate figures such as cost, credit, debit and profit, shortage, loss and understand and interpret financial and or inventory data and reports and balance sheets.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, inventory software, internet software and order processing systems.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem solving skills to analyze customer, branch and employee problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.

Travel:

Approximately 10-40% domestic travel by plane or automobile is required.
