Starting Pay Rate: $15.88 + differential

Job Description
Summary: Know and assemble all the different parts and pieces to complete wire component products of various customer specifications. Utilize the assembly knowledge to train, mentor, and guide others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Use hand and power tools effectively and efficiently to assemble parts.
Work in a fast-paced environment in order to keep up with production requirements.
Assemble different electrical devices by pulling/feeding wire, installing boxes/pigtails, & packaging for shipment.
Testing of final assemblies.
Perform repetitive tasks with precision, expediency, and consistency.
Produce the amount of finalized products required to fill orders.
Train, mentor, and guide new and fellow employees on all aspects of the assembly process.
Quality control checks.
Good housekeeping.
Ensure all work is completed in a safe and cooperative manner.
Assist management with any other needs that may be deemed necessary within the assembly

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to read, write and speak English
Knowledge of the DCN product line
Perform all aspects of the assembly and quality check process
Willingness to mentor and share knowledge
Attendance and punctuality are essential

Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand
Use arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel and reach.
Frequently required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
Extreme heat/cold
Occasionally exposed to vibration.
Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
