Elite Athletic Gear is a small family owned ecommerce brand that is currently seeking Fulfillment Associates to pick and pack online orders placed from our website, Amazon, Etsy, etc. We sell products such as motivational wristbands, headbands, arm sleeves, necklaces, and other sporting good accessories worn by young athletes up through the professional leagues. This is a position that requires a great attention to detail, and we're looking for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. The position would require learning the entire process of order fulfillment including: printing shipping labels (shipping carriers, rates, transit time, package size), picking and packing orders (learning locations and SKU numbers, quality checks). You would also learn how to use a laser engraver, heat press, vinyl cutter, and more to customize products per order specifications. We are not a typical corporate enviroment. We work hard and have high expectations, but we have a great time while doing so! Come join our growing team as we relocate our business from NJ to FL. We are hiring now with an expected start date of 5/29/23.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and quicky pick, pack and ship online orders (Primary job duty)
• Assemebling/packaging pendant necklaces
• Personalizing orders with laser engraving or heat pressing vinyl numbers/letters/logos
• Monitor inventory and restock shelves with product as needed
• Fully understand the principles shipping methods and organizing shipments by shipping speeds
• Learn SKU numbers and warehouse locations
• Assist with receiving shipments and inventorying products
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and occassionally lifting up to 40lbs packages.
• Additional tasks will be occassionaly asked upon request as we are a small growing business with a small team such as helping with photoshoots, discussing new product ideas, ordering shipping supplies, etc.

Schedule:

• 8AM-4PM Monday - Friday (Full Time)
• A few weekends and longer hours will be required during November and December
• We are also hiring for a flexible part time position either 8AM-11AM Monday - Friday and/or weekend shifts with flexible hours.

Minimum Experience:

• Proficient with computers and managing various shipping and inventory softwares
• Exceptional attention to detail. We require a 99.8% order picking accuracy while reading from packing slips.
• Basic understanding of ecommerce/order fulfillment requirements

Preferred Experience:

• Online order fulfillment / warehouse experience
• Inventory/SKU management
• Heat press and laser engraver experience
• Sports/fitness background

Benefits:

• Increased pay and salary position including PTO may be available after 90 days of reliable and exceptional proven work ethic.
