Job description

Our family-run oceanfront motel is seeking a front desk attendant that can:

-greet and check in/out guests and their families

-answer phones and provide excellent customer service

-learn reservation software and be able to answer guests rate inquiries and make reservations

-handle cash and credit card transactions

-learn the property including room types and amenities in order to help guests make informed decisions on their bookings

-communicate to housekeeping staff the daily check-ins, outs, and stay-overs and make sure all daily cleaning tasks are prioritized, completed, and recorded

-maintain lobby and front desk cleanliness

-occasionally help with some laundry and folding as needed

We are ideally looking for someone available Sunday and Monday day shift (8am-2pm) as well as Friday afternoon/evenings (12pm-8pm) and 2 other weeknights (1pm-7pm) for a total of 5 shifts per week.

At least 32 hours available during our busy time (April - October). This is a seasonal business but we do stay open year round with limited hours in the colder months (at minimum 25 hours).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
