A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FRONT DESK ATTENDANT

As a Front Desk Attendant, you are the face of hospitality! You greet each guest enthusiastically and assist with check-in or check-out. Using your terrific communication skills, you speak with guests over the phone to make or adjust reservations. You accommodate special requests whenever possible as you register guests and assign rooms.

The front desk area is always kept clean and presentable under your watchful eye. Always meticulous, you make sure that all billing is accurate. You handle cash, credit cards, and checks responsibly according to our policies and procedures. When needed, you provide positive resolutions to guest concerns. Meeting new people and helping them have the best experience possible fills you with great satisfaction!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FRONT DESK ATTENDANT

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers

Having computer skills is preferred but not required. Do you have excellent communication skills? Can you work well as part of a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you personable and able to build a rapport with people easily? If yes, you might just be perfect for this entry-level hotel position!


WORK SCHEDULE

This part-time position typically works either the morning shift from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or the swing shift from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
