Beach House Dewey and the Atlantic Oceanside Dewey, each offer clean and modern accommodations just steps from the ocean and all the popular boardwalks, beaches, shops, restaurants and bars.

The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for providing the following services:

• Greet customers when they pass through the lobby
• Register arriving guests, assign guests rooms based on the preferences outlined in their reservation, and provide them with keys to their room
• Check guests out of the hotel on the correct departure date
• Answer telephone calls with a kind and appropriate greeting, answer guest questions, and offer information and assistance regarding hotel services
• Communicate with other departments to fulfill guest needs
• Verify all shift work and deposits
• Respond to guest complaints using a calm and understanding tone
• Monitor status of guest accounts
• Post charges to the guest folio
• Update information and guest profiles in the computer systems as needed
• Follow checklist for required duties and timelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Shifts needed: 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Stay the entire season with us and get an end of the season bonus - $1.00 for every hour worked!!

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Experience in hospitality/hotel environment, a plus.
• Six months of Front Desk experience preferred.
• Demonstrate good computer skills
• Accurately handle cash and post charges
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, the public and other employees.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
