Part-Time Front Desk Assistant Bass Lake/Cultural Center:

The position will work part-time in the Parks & Recreation Department as a front desk assistant for Bass Lake and/or the Cultural Center. The position involves heavy public contact. Applicants should have excellent communication and customer service skills. We seek applicants with previous customer service, computer, and basic accounting experience. The position involves working nights, rotating weekends, holidays, and early mornings. In addition, the position may also work during performances and special events. The hiring rate is $12 per hour. Open until filled.

Job Duties:

• Greet and assist patrons
• Answer phones
• Process boat rentals at Bass Lake (assist with HH registration, confirm waiver and video viewed, and iPad needs)
• Rental holds and quotes
• Program registration
• Sell photo permits in RecTrac
• Animal care
• Concessions sales, stocking, and inventory
• Open office in morning, put out rocking chairs, umbrellas, scale, bell and open sign (reverse process for closing)
• Open and close facility
• Cash handling and daily deposits
• Set up and take down of rooms/theater for rentals and programs
• Assure cleanliness of rooms for rentals, programs and any other activities to take place
• Keep planner boards up to date
• Prepare rental paperwork needs for upcoming rentals
