General Purpose
The Total Product Maintenance and Product Freshness Auditor is responsible for auditing Market Unit product freshness by auditing upstream and down-stream process to help with root cause analysis. This position reports directly to the Director of Quality and Environmental. The position ensures Market Units are delivering and sustaining Marketplace Quality/Product Freshness on a consistent basis. 1 - Oversight on BD&L trends and risk management including trade and warehouse. 2 - Oversees the collection of MU samples for submission. In addition, the position will be responsible for sustaining Distribution & Sales Center portion of the Quality Index, and DC Integrated Management System to ensure adherence to the ISO standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide oversight on the below process steps and managing 100% of the inventory to ensure freshness.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Index and DC "end to end" IMS in support of maintaining ISO standards as defined by CCSWB Integrated Management System
- Display understanding of Supply Chain processes and lead scorecard development to help provide visibility on performance and drive improvement.
- Provide guidance on interpreting the data to feedback into the root cause analysis.
- Lead proactive identification of gaps in the process at store SKU level that may be challenging, new products, monitoring and removing at risk & damaged product from the shelves.
- Collaborate with OE resources to identify opportunities to improve and streamline the process and incorporate improvements into the next iteration of the freshness surveys.
- Ensure each process step provides proper data from the product freshness report, plus other metrics the MU's can track, that can add supporting data to each step. This can be used by the Field Technical Manager and Sales Operations.
- Ensure product freshness via audition against the following:
- Collaborate with MU Champion to roll up market age audits conducting root cause analysis based on weekly and monthly triggers
- Oversee execution and reporting of monthly QUality Index for Market Unit
- Merchandiser maintains the right inventory level on the shelf, and rotates effectively
- The store order reflects the short-term need of the store
- Sales Centers maintain a balanced inventory and manages age
- Good rotation and no out of date (OOD) product
- Right product, package, pricing and placement (OBPPC, PicOS)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution, sales merchandising, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with distribution, sales, merchandising and quality management processes
- B.S. degree preferred but not required
