Job Description

As a ED Tech at Grandview Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - assisting in providing quality care to our patients. We offer a work environment that fosters growth, perfect for an experienced patient care associate/tech looking to make a change. Schedule: 6:30p-7a Friday, Saturday, Sunday (3x12s)

Responsibilities

  • Gathers patient information for emergency room patients in the functional areas of admissions, discharges, insurance verification and emergency room treatment records.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and exhibit proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills.
  • At least one year of experience as a nursing assistance, EMT, monitor tech, or unit secretary, preferably in the area of application.
  • Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards under the supervision of an RN.
  • Must obtain and maintain a current certificate in AHA CPR.
  • Must maintain any other requirements for each specific department.
  • Must complete required department competencies and maintain through annual review
