General Summary of Job Duties

The purpose of this position is to interact with guests and ensure they have a great experience while dining at Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill. Servers are responsible for positive interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Servers are expected to be attentive to guest’s needs while making them feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed always.

Essential Job Function and Duties

· Knowledge of current food and drink menu, happy hour and daily specials, 86’ed items, promotions, and Bully’s MVP rewards program (enrollment, perks, coupons).

· Greeting and directing guests to tables, presenting menus, suggestive selling, informing guests of menu item details, repeating all food orders back to the guest to check for accuracy, and correctly communicating those orders to the kitchen via our POS system.

· Ability to interact with guests in a fun and friendly way in order to build relationships and create regulars.

· Maintain a stellar dining experience for our guests by delivering food and drinks in a timely manner, checking in with guests after delivering food and drinks to make sure the guest is happy with their selection, anticipating and fulfilling customer needs, and pre-bussing to avoid clutter during the dining experience.

· Preparing final bill, presenting checks to guests, accepting and processing payments, ability to correctly make change for cash transactions, and encouraging guests to enroll in MVP program for extra perks when dining with Bully’s.

· Bus, clean, and sanitize tables immediately after the guests leave.

· Answering phones within 2 rings, knowledge of telephone greeting, professional and friendly phone etiquette, ability to accurately take TOGO orders over the phone, and ability to schedule and manage reservations (when necessary).

· Completing all side-work and cleaning tasks as assigned by management.

· Adhere to Bully’s dress code as described in the Employee Handbook.

· Knowledge and application of correct IDing procedure for alcohol consumption/purchase.

· Willingness to work as a team to make sure every guest has an amazing experience every time they dine at Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill. We do not say “That’s not my job” at Bully’s!

· Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.

· Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.

· Maintain an open line of communication with Management.

· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Employees, and Vendors.

· Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.

· Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

· Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

· Ability to communicate clearly.

· Outgoing personality and strong customer service skills.

· Basic knowledge of food safety, presentation, and handling.

· Possess basic math skills, the ability to handle cash responsibly, and ability to operate POS system.

· Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

· Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food, frequently weighing up to 25 pounds.

· Ability to multitask.

· Honesty and integrity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
