As Food Program Processor, you'll handle the timely completion of CACFP paperwork and verification to ensure compliance with program requirements, and seek opportunities to improve reimbursements and minimize disallowances.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build collaborative relationships with Field Administrators to optimally identify and address compliance concerns and reimbursement opportunities.
Provide outstanding customer service to center staff through effective communication.
Submit claims to state agencies in an accurate and timely manner. Audit and review all documentation and systems for attendance, meals, family income information, and meal preparation.
Maintain all required documentation in an organized manner, Maintain confidentiality of customer and company records and information.
Understand team and individual performance goals, Work collaboratively and independently to contribute to an impactful team!
Adapt to process and assignment changes and demonstrate flexibility to learn new procedures.
Exhibit professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.
ADDITIONAL STRENGTHS:
- Time Management – Efficiently complete all assigned work according to timelines; concentrates efforts on the more important priorities.
- Organization – Arrange center information in a manner than can be reviewed by other members of the team and administrators with ease.
- Customer Service – Acts with both the customers (centers/admins) and state compliance in mind; establishes and manages relationships with customers and gains their respect and trust
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Clerical, office and/or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- 10-Key proficiency.
