Domaine Storage Florida: Fine Wine Associate

Who we are
: A nationwide team of people with a natural connection to hospitality. We are entrepreneurial thinkers who value awareness, communication and relationships. We care deeply about our team and believe that is reflected in our generous benefits package and company culture. We’re proud of what we do and feel fortunate to work in the world of fine and rare wine.

What we do
: Founded in 2003, we began our journey as passionate wine collectors helping others at home. As members of the Saint Louis wine scene, we noticed that our peers were constantly in need of—and unable to find—help organizing and managing their collections. We stepped in to fill the gap, and that’s when Domaine was born. Since then, we’ve grown to serve the wine world by offering a full range of highly valuable needed services, including:

  • Storage, in our 6 state-of-the-art warehouses
  • Advisory, including cellar management, collection appraisal, sales, and acquisitions
  • Transit, including domestic/international logistics, import, and local pickup/delivery

Who you are: You are the human equivalent of a Swiss army knife: your skills are diverse and always useful. You are unwavering in your professionalism and pledge to provide the best client service possible. You’re happy to fly solo when necessary but know that working together is the only way to make magical things happen. You’re flexible when your team needs you and absolutely rigid in your commitment to quality work. Can this reliable and steadfast of a person ever have fun? You prove they can every day.

What you’ll do:
You’ll use a combination of top-notch customer service skills, concentration, and conscientious, tender loving care to inventory wines, evaluate bottle conditions, record data with meticulous accuracy, and protect wines while in your care during transportation. While keeping things neat and tidy, you’ll do everything it takes to respect our clients’ collections: retrieving wines from home cellars, unloading shipments, updating client accounts within our inventory software, packing, repacking, consolidating, pulling wines, prepping for shipment, and delivering when necessary.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service -

  • Greet visitors and accept warehouse deliveries from UPS/FedEx and common carriers
  • Execute client and employee requests with speed, accuracy, and professionalism

  • Assist with offsite pickups, deliveries, and installations
  • Build and wrap pallets
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Prepare orders for delivery via local driver, UPS/FedEx, and common carriers
  • Label and organize outgoing boxes/pallets with shipping labels
  • Track, manage and prepare inbound/outbound shipments when needed
  • Drive delivery van or box truck for offsite pickups and deliveries, as needed, including loading and unloading with precision and care
  • Follow Domaine's operational policies and procedures 100% of the time; informing management if a policy is unclear or needs to be updated in the Operations Manual

Facilities -

  • Participate in warehouse and office housekeeping and organizing to uphold company brand standards
  • Maintain supply and material inventory for office, lounge, and warehouse

Compensation Details: Salary commensurate with experience.
