ERM is actively seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our corporate Finance team. As part of the North America FP&A team, the successful candidate will work closely with senior finance and business leaders to develop financial budgeting, modeling, and forecasting tools and maintain reporting functions for the business. This function supports the analytical engine for the North America Finance team and will provide insight and support decision making in relation to ERM’s financial goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional to be able to work across business units and collaborate with senior leaders throughout the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Builds advanced knowledge of ERM financial and operational data sets.
  • Understands data sourcing, architecture, cleansing, and prepping processes, as well as the inter-connections of these data sets.
  • Leverages the appropriate tools and applications to generate data validations to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data sets.
  • Leverages the appropriate tools and applications to resolve data integrity issues, or process periodic updates, in an efficient, timely manner.
  • Builds solid working relationships with ERM internal business partners to assist in the data development and management process.
  • Effectively tracks and monitors data integrity issues from identification through resolution. Develops and documents best practices for data management processes.
  • Leverages knowledge of data sets to assist in the enablement of other data related processes, initiatives, and strategies.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 1-3 years of experience with data management processes (data sourcing, architecture, cleansing, and prepping).
  • Experience with managing large volumes of data (structured and unstructured) is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) skills required.
  • Experience developing in MS Access or SQL Server is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in VBA and Macros is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written communication ability.
  • Goal driven and resourceful; able to meet tight deadlines and produce high quality work.
  • Team orientated with excellent communication skills.
