As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates should excel at all levels of analysis. This full-time position comes with a strong compensation and benefits package, as well as the chance of growth. This Senior Accountant role is based in Coachella, California with a company in the Hospitality field.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
• Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
• Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
• Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
• Partake in various department-wide initiatives
• Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
• Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

• Proficient in ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Financial Operation experience preferred
• Full Cycle Accounting experience
• Financial statement preparation experience
• Strong familiarity with US GAAP
• Month end closings experience
• SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
• Exceptional time management skills preferred
• Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
• 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
• Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
• Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
• Strong communication and social skills
• Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
• Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
• Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions
