Title: Finance controller – Advagen
Reports to: Group Chief Financial Officer – Rubicon
Job Function:
· Head of finance function for North America (US and Canada) and part of the Advagen Leadership Team ·Responsible for driving profitable growth of Advagen business along with Advagen leadership team
· To make Advagen a systems & process driven organisation without compromising entrepreneurial nimbleness Responsibilities:
· Responsible accounting (Including Gross to net), business finance, compliance, Internal control, Audit, working capital management
· Enable data-based decision making to drive profitable/ sustainable growth.
· Streamlining and strengthening the finance function.
· Identify areas for GTN improvement.
· Cost optimization & revenue maximization
· Driving digitisation/ automation agenda at Advagen
· Coordinate financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls as well as making recommendations for process and control/compliance improvements to improve profitability.
· Direct and coordinate financial planning and analysis and budget management functions for Services. Ensure compliance with budgetary / strategic financial reporting and analysis requirements.
· Ensure the effective functioning of the Finance staff, including training, recruitment, performance management to ensure all services are appropriately resourced to meet business requirements.
· Maintain adequate internal controls, accounting policies and timely monthly close processes with tight deadlines.
· Meet the fiduciary and statutory responsibilities and obligations, overseeing statutory reporting and compliance requirements including period-end reporting, technical US GAAP accounting, external audit, insurance, and tax return submissions where required.
· Drive a rigorous budget planning and forecasting process including production costs, margin analysis, variances, capex, operational expenses, inventory, and headcount.
· Managing and maximising the offshore support team based out of India.
· Other project responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification and Experience
· Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or similar)
· 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
· Prior experience/ understanding of US generics is preferred.
· 3-4 year of supervisory experience would be preferred.
· Knowledge of SAP & USGAAP
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 150k-200k pa
