Pay Range: $21.38/hr. - $26.72/hr.

A Field Operations Crewleader job is available with the City of Fort Worth Code Compliance/Solid Waste Services Division. This position will be the lead on a six-person team that monitors contractor performance. The main responsibility of the team is to check bulk collection routes after collection has been reported complete by the contractors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Two (2) years of responsible experience in field construction, maintenance, repair, or operational activities related to assigned division.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must pass Drug Screen and Physical.

- Solid Waste Operations Experience
- Map Reading/Route Running
- Customer Service
- Excel Experience
The Field Operations Crewleader job responsibilities include:
- Monitoring Routes - responsible for assisting Senior Contract Compliance Specialist with tracking completed bulk collection routes; assigning routes to the monitor team; verifying routes with team which includes map reading to follow the route and make sure no streets are missed, reporting missed collections, unusual set outs and leaving notices of violations for residents with non-compliant bulk. Responsible for data entry required to track these issues.
- Assist with high level customer service issues related to bulk, garbage, recycle or yard waste collection or cart delivery and maintenance: reviewing, investigating and resolving general customer service issues and performance issues with the contractors. Providing follow up with customers (many times in person), contractors and the customer care team.
- Performance tracking, including operational reporting, prepares reports concerning operations and activities related to bulk waste monitoring and other employee related activities including assisting with vehicle and location tracking. assist with setting team schedule.
- Investigate customer reported bulk misses by reviewing customer history, mapping programs, contractor reported issues and vehicle recording devices to determine if bulk was missed by the contractor or set out late by the customer.

Physical Demands
Heavy Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
