Job Description

We are currently searching for an EXPERIENCED Agricultural and Construction Field Equipment Technician to represent and join our Nashville, TN location(Eventually moving to Joelton on White's Creek Pike). We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping customers with a can-do attitude exceeding our customer's expectations.

General Duties - Some duties are, but not limited to, the following for our Field Equipment Technicians:

• Set the tone and represent Coleman Tractor in the community through knowledge, honesty, and integrity.
• Begin each workday with a positive mindset and always encourage a sense of “team” amongst peers
• Conduct equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
• Diagnose and repair all major systems on compact and agricultural equipment as assigned by the Service Manager
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls
• Work effectively with all levels of the company -- Parts, Service, Sales, Admin
• Stay on top of technical and product knowledge by attending/completing all assigned training from Coleman and Kubota
• Along with the Lot Coordinator, keep the service shop clean and organized if at the store
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor
• Ability to work on small engine equipment, heavy machinery, and implements on the road

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Must have positive can-do attitude
• Ability to work alternating Saturdays from 8am-12pm during the spring, summer, and fall

Physical Requirements

• This position is very active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
• Employee but frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs
• Ability to Load and unload equipment

Qualifications:

• Active Driver's License in order to drive company truck
• 3+ years experience in AG equipment service operations
• 3+ years of field technician experience
• Strong mechanical background including excellent skills in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
