Project Coordinator to provide high level administrative support for a wide variety of utility construction projects within our Program Management team. This role is critical to the overall success of our various large scale construction projects Nationwide.

Essential Functions:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Performs data entry of time and material from field crew timecards into proprietary system
  • Verifies that transactions comply with customer contracts and Peak Utilities Services Group and Subsidiaries policies and procedures
  • Schedules multiple crews on a daily basis with department supervisors/superintendents
  • Accurately assesses priorities, including making appropriate customer contacts, to optimize productivity of field employees
  • Updates daily crew schedules with supervisors/superintendents and maintains timely communications with customer project management personnel
  • Assembles and processes job packets, coordinates with permit technician, initiates work order creation, verifies the accuracy and maintains updates for MR’s (material requests) for individual projects
  • Schedules locates, locate meets and municipal inspector meetings
  • Maintains organized system of document retention
  • Maintains updated job scheduling and completion records
  • Responds to inquiries from internal departments regarding time reports, billing, unit and Time and Expense questions
  • Supports the coordination of ancillary services, third party vendor rentals and repairs for individual job projects
  • Coordinates and schedules the inspection and certification of tool and equipment inspection
  • Maintains strong work ethic to ensure the required day’s work is complete
  • Responsible for timely communication with customers and Peak Utilities Services Group and Subsidiaries staff
  • Responsible for the collection and reporting of monthly metrics for the department

Experience and Education:

  • Construction Industry Experience is desirable
  • Sales and/or phone handling experience desirable, but not required
  • Prior crew coordination/scheduling experience desired
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
  • Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
