Mount Hope Estates and the Pennsylvania Rennaissance Faire invite you to join our team as a Privy Attendant!

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will run every weekend and select school days from August 19th - October 29th.

This is a costumed position. The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will provide costume and Employee Handbook. Employee must provide his/her own period-style footwear to be approved by Costume Dept. This is a seasonal, part time position.

Duties:

• Interacting creatively with customers using language from the Elizabethan era.
• Maintain appropriate dress and behavior of the time period while keeping a positive, professional image.
• Provide friendly and quality customer service while answering questions and offering suggestions to patrons.
• Provide clean and accessible restroom facilities for our patrons.
• Toilet maintenance including brushing out toilet bowls, wiping clean from top to bottom and under the seat, and replacing urinal cakes if applicable.
• Stock supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers.
• Keep work area clean and orderly by restocking and maintaining daily inventory, sweeping, cleaning countertops, etc.
• Handling minor customer complaints with understanding.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess the ability to be customer-service oriented, friendly, and motivated to provide necessary information and assistance to our valued patrons.
• Have steady transportation.
• Friendly and able to work well with others.
• Meet company grooming standards.

Working Conditions:

• Requires working mostly indoors in extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Able to work around bees.
• Requires standing, lifting, and bending.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
