MAHUBE-OTWA Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking two family childcare contractors for a new childcare partnership site Perham, MN. The childcare space is located in quiet neighborhood and fully furnished with a fenced outdoor play area.

TITLE: Family Child Care Contractor

LOCATION: 773 and 775 5th St Perham, MN 56573

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Previous experience in family childcare or other early childhood setting. Must have or be willing to obtain a current family childcare license and a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or equivalent coursework/credential. Preferred: Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education with 1-3 years early childhood experience and a current family child care license.

BASIC FUNCTION: Family childcare contractors agree to provide Head Start services within their childcare setting in a partnership with MAHUBE-OTWA Head Start. The Contractor will enroll and care for a minimum of four Head Start eligible children and can also care for additional non-Head Start enrolled children. Contractors receive financial compensation for fulfilling contract terms in addition to weekly childcare rates, and have access to supplies, equipment, professional development, an accelerated 4 Star Parent Aware rating, and ongoing technical assistance from program staff. Contractors must adhere to the Agency Standards of Conduct and Agency values of being client focused, community minded and resourcefulness.
