Work Location:12999 Deer Creek Canyon Rd. Littleton, CO 80127

Work / Shift Schedule: M-F 7AM-4PM

Compensation Range: $18 - $22 per hour based on experience

Other Compensation: This position is not bonus eligible and it is not commission eligible

Job Summary: The main duties will be working with the Deer Creek move manager as requests are generated for a move, to carry out the work. Employee will also perform a variety of exterior tasks such as snow removal, mowing, weed mitigation, trimming shrubs and picking up trash. Employee will perform a variety of interior tasks such as cleaning mechanical and electrical room floors, painting and assisting the EMCOR staff with other duties as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out moves as they are generated by tenants through the EMCOR move manager from start to finish. From delivering boxes, moving boxes and furniture from one location to another. Then gathering boxes when unpacked.

  • Snow removal/landscaping. Candidate will be expected to respond when called in (typically 2am) for shoveling and or operating snow removal equipment. mowing, weed mitigation, trimming shrubs and picking up trash.

  • Employee will perform a variety of interior tasks such as cleaning mechanical and electrical room floors, painting and assisting the EMCOR staff with other duties as needed.

  • On call responsibility: participate in the on call rotation, responsible for remotely monitoring the facility and responding to the site for critical alarms.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 yrs experience in maintenance
  • Valid drivers’ license
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift up over 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to working near moving mechanical parts, extreme cold and heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoors weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate noise.
