Summary:
Serves as an expert resource and lead person within the Food and Nutrition department. Works closely with the director/manager to plan, implement, and facilitate the work activity of the unit to accomplish goals and objectives. Organizes and maintains food service sanitation operations and performs a variety of food service duties to facilitate efficient workflow.

Qualifications:
Education

Associates degree preferred

Experience

Prior purchasing experience preferred.

Computer skills required.

Must be able to scale recipes and extend cost.

Must be able to read, write and follow directions accurately.

Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully interact with others.

Should have knowledge and previous experience in the care and operation of standard kitchen equipment.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

Food sanitation certificate preferred
