ABOUT OUR MOBILE SALONS:

Furry Land San Antonio is a luxury mobile pet grooming service and as such we operate our business from a state of the art mobile grooming salon built into the latest Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. We take pride in showing up in style and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Our groomers are provided with premium products and high quality tools to supplement their personal grooming kits. Each van is equipped with 360 degree interior and exterior surveillance for peace of mind, concierge roadside assistance, portable Bluetooth point-of-sale, and a built-in voice-operated AI assistant.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

When our pets inspire us to be more loving and caring, it’s no surprise that our Grooming team embodies those qualities. With your patience, guidance, and passion for helping others, you’ll help to lead the operations of the grooming business—from head to tail! You’ll build relationships with clients, champion exceptional customer service, and train assistants in the skill of grooming. The team of groomers associates will drive results to grow the business.

As a Groomer Pro you will:

• Train to become proficient in the use of our state-of-the-art Mobile Grooming Salon.
• Performing dog grooming services to breed standards and to client’s personal preferences.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Lead and train junior groomers.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance for tools and mobile grooming salon.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every pet.
• Be the example in your grooms, training, and meeting your scheduling.

As a Promo Groomer (assistant) you will:

• Train to become proficient in the use of our state-of-the-art Mobile Grooming Salon.
• Perform dog grooming services to breed standards and to client’s personal preferences.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every pet.
• Assist lead groomer with bathing, drying, cleaning, navigating, etc.
• Perform promotional work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract (for Specialty Groomers)

Salary: $30,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (based on experience)

Pay Structure: Guaranteed Base Pay (hourly) OR Commission (whichever is greater) AND 100% of tips earned

Schedules: 3 12-hour shifts, 4 10-hour shifts, 4-hour shifts (Part-Time), 5 8-hour shifts, etc.

Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required) Groomers are also allowed to take the mobile salon home with them if they are working a stretch of shifts over several days and no other groomer is using the van. We do what we can to support our groomers and make things easier.

Experience: Companion Animal Care: 1 year (Preferred) Pet Grooming: 1 year (Required)
