<p>Experienced Diesel Mechanic &nbsp;Pay: $25-$30 per hour &nbsp;Beamer's Piggyback is a small family owned repair and fabrication facility. We service trucks, trailers, forklifts, RV's and heavy duty equipment. &nbsp;We are in need of an Experienced Diesel Mechanic. Our ideal candidate can perform all minor maintenance and inspections, work on all chassis components, external engine and drivetrain components and perform internal engine work and engine rebuilds unassisted. &nbsp;We are looking for a candidate who is willing to step into a leadership position and is able &amp; willing to assist other mechanics in repair and give direction when needed. We strive to become the best truck and buggy repair &amp; fabrication facility in the Cincinnati area! &nbsp;Benefits/Compensation: &nbsp;* Hourly rate based on experience * Attendance based weekly bonus * Full-time, 40 hour week plus overtime * Paid Holidays &amp; Paid Vacations * IRA Savings Plan with company match * Medical Insurance / Company pays up to 60% * Company HSA Monthly Contribution Match * Company provided Medical Reimbursement * Dental &amp; Vision, Short term disability, critical illness, cancer, accident &amp; hospital confinement available &nbsp;Essential Duties and Responsibilities: &nbsp;* Perform PM Services, Annual Inspections &amp; Routine Maintenance; Adjust equipment to standards set by state DOT for motor vehicle inspections, and safety standards * Perform diagnostics &amp; determine a course of action for repair * Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken parts * Can troubleshoot and repair all chassis components, all external engine components and drivetrain components, unassisted * Can troubleshoot and repair all internal engine issues and complete an engine rebuild, all unassisted * Test drive repaired equipment * Use hoists, wrenches, gauges, drills, grinders, or other specialized mechanic tools and equipment * Complete assigned repairs/tasks in a timely manner * Maintain parts usage records and request repair parts via communications system * Maintain clean personal and work area standards for safety * Positive &amp; courteous communication with fellow employees, management and customers is expected * Operate lift trucks &amp; equipment as required &nbsp;* Three to five years of experience or trade/specialized training * Ability to lift approximately 75 lbs. * Must have own tools * Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Basic computer skills necessary * Experience in both gas &amp; diesel modern emissions * Air Conditioning experience preferred * Experience with diagnostics machine preferred * Proficiency in regen and in diagnosing, removing, and installing DPF systems &amp; components preferred &nbsp;Pre-employment background check, random drug and alcohol screen required.</p>

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.09 - $30.10 per hour
