Responsibilities
  • Prepare SCA Health’s Consolidated financial statements, including Intercompany Elimination Entries
  • Summarize SCA Health monthly activity into a monthly financial reporting package for accounting leadership, providing explanations for significant monthly activity
  • Organize and submit financial and non-financial metrics / deliverables to Optum, SCA Health’s parent company, on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Prepare SCA Health quarterly cash flow projections
  • Record monthly equity syndication and repurchase transactions
  • Reconcile and authenticate ownership for SCA’s partnerships
  • Analyze company-wide Distributions to SCA and non-SCA owners
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures and controls to ensure the timely accumulation of information necessary for financial reporting and partnership accounting functions
  • Maintain key relationships with key internal and external stakeholders: Optum, various SCA accounting lanes, SCA internal counsel, and SCA Broker-Dealer.

Qualifications
  • BS in Accounting required
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred
  • CPA (or working towards) preferable; relevant experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft: Excel, Outlook, Word
