We are hiring for an Environmental Services Lead position to be responsible for leading all operations related to environmental services including floor care, infection control (as it relates to cleaning specifications), and the overall upkeep of the facilities and equipment relevant to Environmental Services.

Responsibilities :

• Provide a safe, secure, and clean environment for youth, faculty and staff.
• Assure proper methods of cleaning are adhered to, and that daily tasks are finished in a satisfactory and timely manner.
• Assist Environmental Service (ES) Supervisor with assigned tasks.
• Participate in scheduled ES Supervisor/ Lead meetings.
• Report any safety issues to ES Supervisor.
• Assist the ES Supervisor with inventory control; as well as the ordering of cleaning products and supplies.
• Assists with training new hires on chemical use and cleaning processes as well as ongoing training as needed of all ES staff.
• Assist with power cleans, room sanitations, quality inspections, room set ups and any other tasks assigned by the ES Supervisor.
• Ability to use and safely operate a variety of different machines including but is not limited to:

• Carpet Extractor/Topical Carpet Cleaners
• Carpet Extraction Van
• High Speed Burnisher
• Auto Scrubber

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year(s) of environmental service experience
• Should have a valid driver’s license and meet agency driving standards
