AECOM is actively seeking a talented Entry Level Engineering Designer to join our World Class Rail Systems Team in our Louisville, KY office. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects to include Communication Based Train Control (CBTC), Positive Train Control (PTC), Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), Solid State Interlocking (SSI), Cab Signaling and/or conventional signaling systems.

Daily duties and responsibilities:

• Support the design development and test all aspects of a signaling system built to customer specifications and other contract requirements
• Assist with technical proposals for new projects and help develop cost proposals based on client specifications
• Follow QA/QC policies and practices and identify possible quality and safety issues within the scope of the project
• Develop signal circuit designs, design signal circuit drawing typical
• Review project specifications and drawings

Minimum Requirements :

• 
  High School plus no experience

Preferred Qualifications :

• BA/BS Electrical Engineering Technology or related field plus
• Five (5) plus years’ experience with designing Train Control Systems.
