Position:

• Secondary Social Studies Teacher

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university
• A valid Colorado Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one

Terms of Employment:

• Reports to Building Principal
• Workday: 7:30 am – 4:15 pm (Monday thru Thursday and one Friday per month)
• For the the 2023-2024 school year
• Number of Teacher Days assigned annually
• Salary and benefits as per Board policy
• Salary Range: ~$35,500-$55,000

• Staff will conduct themselves professionally
• Teachers will plan and deliver systematic and explicit lessons
• The Rocky Ford School District will ensure a safe emotional and physical environment
• Teachers will use data to ensure student learning
