Foreman Announcement

Adkins Electric, Inc. has been in business for over 40 years, and we are looking to fill the position of Electrical Foreman to join our team in the Ocala/Springhill/Wildwood, Florida area. We offer competitive pay for a qualified Foreman.

The ideal candidate for this particular Electrical Foreman must have experience in all phases of electrical construction, must be able to operate various types of equipment, as well as to read, cross-reference, and explain drawings to co-workers. It will be necessary to run a crew of electricians and be responsible for meeting a demanding schedule.

The position requires that you have your own hand tools. The ideal candidate will have the ability to meet all the following requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret job specifications
• Must be able to supervise crews and manage materials
• Must be able to meet job schedules
• Must have commercial and multi-family electrical experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must have NEC code knowledge; Journeyman preferable
• Must have basic tools
• Must be able to pass drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to follow safety rules and adhere to company policies
• Must be able to lift at least fifty pounds
• Must be able to work safely while on ladders

Use of a company truck will also be provided, pending clearance with a clean driving record.

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
