IES Commercial, Inc. – Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking full-time Electrical Estimator in Grand Island or Holdrege, Nebraska.

Job Summary

• Estimate projects including commercial, industrial, plan and spec, design and build, and design assist
• Apply estimating best practices and procedures
• Coordinate project scope with materials, local/national codes and sub-contractors
• Visit project sites as needed
• Manage requests for information (RFIs) during bid process
• Qualify quotes for special materials and sub-contracts
• Prepare proposal letters, bid forms and turnover packages on awarded projects
• Meet with and interact with customers, throughout each project's life-cycle.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Commercial and industrial electrical estimating experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of blueprints, specifications, codes and regulations.
• Proficient computer skills and exposure to MS Office and Accubid or Estimation Logistics.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
