C&C Power is growing! For 30 years, we have engineered and manufactured critical power backup and distribution products for data center, healthcare, industrial, and other markets. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer, Hardware Design to add to our family of employees.

This individual will handle product lifecycle of existing hardware and new product development. The role requires experience designing analog and digital AC and DC circuitry and circuits with embedded processors, and the ideal candidate has a background in Critical Power Systems, Power Distribution, and Battery Technologies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design electronics hardware through analog and digital circuits.
  • Hardware design, component availability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with our Software Engineers in designing hardware.
  • Test product and components and maintain required documentation.
  • Support internal and external customers with troubleshooting/debugging.
  • Ensure compliance with specs, codes, and requirements.
  • Track project timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of related work experience.
  • Understanding of electrical components including circuit breakers, transformers and complex monitoring systems.
  • Working knowledge of Critical Power Systems, Power Distribution and Battery Technologies.
  • Proficient with circuit board design automation tools. Altium preferred.
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout experience.
  • CAN bus, SNMP, MOD bus and other communication protocols.
  • Well versed in product regulatory compliance design and testing (UL, FCC).
  • Enjoys a team approach and relates well with all levels in the organization.
  • Analytical, personable, organized, effective communicator (verbal and written).
