Join our growing team at Clover Leaf as an Electrical Engineer, where you'll have the opportunity to work on location at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna, NY. At the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, we develop advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology to ensure the safety and reliability of our Navy's submarine and aircraft fleet.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and defining project scope with sponsors and working with the project team to develop performance specifications and cost estimates, as well as providing construction phase support for building renovation projects. Additionally, you'll oversee architectural-engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates & characterization for infrastructure projects. You will also coordinate and interact with facility staff and contractors.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• a BS degree in electrical engineering and at least 5-10 years of practical experience, including performing electrical engineering tasks such as developing contract documents, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Working knowledge of the National Electric Code, NFPA, and related standards
• knowledge of lighting, power distribution systems, and communication systems for buildings and infrastructure, is required.
• Experience in construction administration, including submittal review, RFIs, construction site observations, and documentation is also necessary.

Desired qualifications include an EIT certificate and/or PE license, as well as engineering consulting experience.
