Our valued manufacturing partner is looking for an experienced Safety Supervisor to join their growing team in the Blue Island, IL area.

What will your responsibilities be as the EHS Specialist?

• Manage and oversee the implementation of safety programs for the site
• Head up the safety committee for the facility
• Conduct injury investigations, follow up on near misses and property damage incidences
• Ensure employees are following all safety rules including PPE expectations, forklift operation standards, emergency evacuation processes, and so on
• Oversee Workers' Compensation program and maintain OSHA 300 logs for the site
• Work with insurance carrier and medical providers on return to work program
• Create safety KPIs and metrics

Who qualifies for the EHS Specialist role?

• Candidates with 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree, preferred or relevant experience in the field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus

How much will you earn as the EHS Specialist?

• Salary range is $80,000 - $95,000, based on experience
