DSHS ESH Physician Assistant Certified

The successful hire will be offered a starting salary within the range of $140,268-147,360.

We are seeking a Certified Physician’s Assistant to join the team at Eastern State Hospital in Medical Lake, WA.

In this role, you will provide direct medical care to an assigned caseload of patients on the Adult, Geropsychiatric, or Forensic services units. You will also actively participate as a member of the treatment team on your ward.

Some of what you’ll do:
  • Provide medical care to patients including physical examinations and establishing medical diagnoses
  • Provide appropriate evaluations including ordering and reviewing diagnostic testing.
  • Determine appropriate treatment and arrange for referrals if needed
  • Lead/direct licensed nursing staff in the provision of treatment for medical illness/injury
  • Complete required chart documentation and billing documents.
