Drug Treatment Court Case Manager – Full-Time Position

Position Summary:
Provides case management services to individuals who have been approved to be participants in the Butler County Drug Treatment Court (DTC).
Essential Functions:
- Conduct intake to identify consumer’s needs to be addressed
- Attend all DTC team meetings and DTC court hearings
- In collaboration with DTC Probation Officer, provide current summary of participants’ participation in the DTC program and progress toward successful completion of the program
- Within 14 days of a consumer’s acceptance into the program, a comprehensive consumer-driven Individualized Service Plan (ISP) that includes attainable and measurable goals will be developed and implemented. Service plans will be monitored regularly and will be updated every 6 months
- Engage with clients to build rapport to support clients in maintaining sobriety and breaking down barriers to community services. Weekly contact will be maintained with all DTC participants residing in the community
- Complete all reports, documentation, and data entry in a timely and accurate fashion
- Maintain utilization requirements
- Able to manage time effectively to meet the needs of consumers and program requirement
- Maintain strict Drug and Alcohol Confidentiality Law
- Must be well organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, public speaking and presentations skills, demonstrate initiative, be flexible, creative, innovative, and build good working relationships
- Ability to work under pressure while exercising discretionary judgment; make decisions
- Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency
Daylight, Monday-Friday hours. Some flex schedule! On Call 1 week/month for Case Coordination. Some local travel required. Company car available or mileage reimbursement is available at the state set rate!
The salary range is $34,000-$35,500. Depending on experience and education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical dependency, sociology, social welfare, psychology, nursing or related field OR a bachelor’s degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 18 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, criminal justice, or related social science. One-year direct service drug and alcohol services or related field of service required.
Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
