POSITION SUMMARY

HOMETOWN Health Center van driver will provide safe dependable, reliable transportation to patients to HHC’s offices and back to their homes.

Minimum requirements for Drivers are:

• Minimum age of 21
• Current valid state issued driver's license
• Clean driving record
• On call, per diem position
• No CDL required
• Knowledge of the area
• CPR Certified and Narcan trained

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:

• Good organizational skills to handle multiple priorities while remaining professional and calm.
• Ability to work with many diverse people.
• Strong level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of contact with patients and information handled.
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed and flexible.
• Ability to perform functions with minimal supervision.

• Behave in a professional manner and consistently demonstrate and promote the values of respect, honesty, and dignity for the patient, families, and all members of the healthcare team.

• Be punctual for scheduled work and use time appropriately.
• Perform duties in a conscientious, cooperative manner.
• Be neat and maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect the Practice by abiding by laws and principles related to confidentiality; keep information concerning Practice Operations, patients and employees confidential.
• Adheres to HHC’s immunization policy.

EXPERIENCE:

• Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
