Basic Requirements

• Driver’s License & Boaters Safety Card (can apply for B.S.C. during training)

• Drug Free Workplace (prior to hire & random screenings)

• 18+ years of age

• Pass a thorough and complete background check (Anything that might show up, big or small, we need to know at time of application)

• Professional communication skills with co-workers, members, and the general public

• Professional appearance and uniform required

• The physical ability to safely board, disembark, clean, and maintain our vessels

• General knowledge of electronics (i.e. iPad, iPhone, time-clock app, etc.)

• Basic mechanical ability

Overall Job Description of daily, weekly, and monthly duties & responsibilities

• Provide concierge service to our members

o Offer to assist them to and from their vehicles with their gear

o Help them board and disembark their vessel

o Show them around, rather than point them in the right direction

o Offer advice on boat operation, local activities, weather forecasts, etc.

• Maintain a good attitude and treat members and their guests with respect

• Utilize our electronic reservation system to complete the check out and check in process

• Clean vessels (daily usage and regular deep cleaning)

• Handle minor member mishaps or incidents while maintaining friendly disposition

• Contact members to remind them of a confirmed reservation the next day

• Speak with potential members about the club/forward their contact info to the membership exec.

Job Terms

• For quicker response, apply through Indeed

• 4-6 days per week

• Shifts can be weekends or week days

• Unscheduled absences by either calling off or “no shows” are not tolerated

• Scheduled days can vary and change

• Time off requests should be submitted to your supervisor two weeks in advance for their approval

• If you refer a lead to the membership executive, and they join the club, you will receive a $100 commission bonus

• Direct Deposit to bank/credit union is required

• Pay rate increases will be based on performance evaluations

• Evaluations are earmarked at 30 days and at least annually thereafter

• Reliable transportation & flexibility in schedule is required

• Weather related closings or low usage will result in fewer or shorter shifts
