SUMMARY

This position is responsible for table service to residents, families and visitors. Duties include the setting up, clearing and cleaning of the main dining room and family dining room tables. Relationships with residents, families, residence and the community as a whole are emphasized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complies with community policies and procedures.
• Responsible for taking food orders properly and delivers food ordered in a timely and courteous manner. Knowledge of resident food allergies.
• Responsible for maintaining the dining room and kitchen in a sanitary and orderly manner. Buses tables and sets up dining room for the next meal.
• Knowledge of food handling and infection control, including HACCP standards. Ability to use all job related food equipment.
• Assist with catering and special events, which may require moving tables and chairs.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or requested.
