The Director – Security Architecture & Engineering is responsible for developing and implementing a company-wide information security program to protect DRiV business operations and brand from impacts due to cyber threats and loss or misuse of company information assets. The Director will collaborate with the IT leadership to develop and drive implementation of technical cyber security strategies aligned with the Company’s business and Information Services strategy, information risk management, and compliance goals. This position will also be responsible for ensuring the secure configuration and design of IT infrastructure, and the secure implementation of the organization’s portfolio of applications.

  • Provide the overall leadership and strategy for the Information Security Architecture and Engineering team. Align the team’s deliverables with both Business and Information Services objectives.
  • Direct Architecture and Engineering services such as creating secure reference architectures, establishing secure baseline configuration standards, and participating in IT projects as security SMEs.
  • Directs technical security assessments in support of third-party risk management program.
  • Partner with Information Security GRC, IAM, Operations, and Privacy teams to maintain and optimize the technical security posture of the company.
  • Collaborate effectively with the with Corporate Audit and Legal teams to develop technical security controls and standards.
  • Direct the information security technology roadmap and lifecycle management. Lead efforts to implement, replace, and maintain information security technologies in accordance with roadmap and lifecycle.
  • Directs SOC Engineering services to build and maintain platforms such as the SIEM, SOAR, and TIP for use by the Operations team.
  • Develop and manage third party and Supplier relationships needed to ensure delivery of Information Security objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for adoption of information security best practices across the Business. Contribute as a leader and key participant to the Information Security leadership team as well as corporate boards and committees.
  • Understand and anticipate security trends and technologies across the industry and proactively keep leadership informed of information security performance and security-related issues and activities.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high performance security team including objective setting, performance management, and mentoring of team.
  • Effectively manage finances including budgets for the information security technology portfolio.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience / Skills:



Education / Experience:


  • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Security and Risk Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related major or commensurate experience.
  • 10+ years of working level experience securing IT systems.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other industry certifications.
  • Managerial and financial management experience.
  • Experience in a large-scale global IT enterprise environment.

  • MBA or equivalent degree desired
