A nursing home facility located in Livingston, NJ is urrently seeking a compassionate and professional Director of Nursing to supervise the nursing staff of their facility
Requirements of the Director of Nursing:
- Must have valid New Jersey RN license
- Prior experience as a Director of Nursing preferred
- Must have long term care experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Must have strong clinical background & knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Supervises all nursing staff in the facility
- Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure
- Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff
- Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current
- Overseeing nursing employee conduct
- Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
- Assessing the health needs of each resident
