Clay Community Foundations is a Supports for Community Living (SCL) agency seeking Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to provide assistance to individuals with Developmental and/or Intellectual Disabilities in a home and community-based setting. Direct Support Professionals provide assistance with daily living skills and activities such as meal preparation and planning, home management, medication administration, personal care, transportation, and community involvement. Our focus is on maintaining a clean, safe, stimulating living environment; supporting individuals to become active members of their communities and encouraging individuals to their highest level of independence.

Qualifications/Requirements:

•Must be 18 years of age or older

•Have a high school diploma/GED or is at least twenty-one (21) years old

•Have a valid Social Security number or valid work permit

•Read, understand, and implement written and oral instructions

•Be able to perform required documentation and record keeping

•Experience in providing services and supports to individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities preferred, but not required.

•Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds

•Successful clearance of background checks

•Negative results of drug testing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $640.00 - $880.00 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

• Weekend availability

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
